Tickled Orange @ Hilton

I'm really quite excited for my first fair! Been super busy preparing.. and it's been a bit of a struggle, what with all that preparation and 4 quizzes to handle. But I think (or rather, hope) that everything's going to play out just fine. I really don't mind the sacrifices and late nights... I just hope it'll be a success! *crossing all my fingers and toes* Anyway I'm super happy this week.. my jewellery got chosen to be displayed at the Singapore Tourism Board Visitor's Centre at orchard. It's like this promotion they have in relation to the Hilton Fair advertisement. I feel so blessed. Yays!! Also, the fashion shoot is going really well. Despite rainy days and delays, we've got quite a bit done already, and any progress is good news right?? So expect a new 'Lookbook' section on the site soon... my latest mini project!

renewal

School has started, and I've been busy just living day to day. Trying to get as many things as possible done, trying to stay on top of my schoolwork (no regrets this sem!), preparing for my upcoming fair, squeezing in time to meet up with friends and have some fun, tuition... everyday I just look at my to-do list and follow whatever is up there. And when I think I'm facing a slight burnout, I come across this while doing one of my readings for class:

Isn't it funny how inspiration and support come from all things around you? This somehow gave me the strength and conviction to carry on and follow a dream which path and end I have no idea of. Especially now, at a time when I’m wavering and yet frantically chasing, it just makes me stop and think, ‘hey, at least I’ve tried’. Let’s hope all goes well for the fair. *fingers crossed*
