we took a one-way tour bus to anaheim disneyland, from which our aunt fetched us to her home in fullerton. and what a home it was! absolutely lovely and idyllic, and i have the photos to prove it!

US trip, part one...

k, so i've finally uploaded the pics from my cam, so i decided to post some of those from mine first. it's kinda all over the place, since i have some, my sis has some, and my cuz has some.. so prepare to be confused! and also, we 'moved house' a lot! one night at chinatown, one at sue's friend alex's place, and here we are at santa monica on our third day, enjoying our american food! :)

can you believe the size of this thing?!? we were drooling and dying to bring them home, but we had to settle for our 8 normal sized bottles of wine and alcohol instead=] i got some super yummy drinks! peach snapps, margarita, malibu mango, and tons of flavoured brandys. yummy!

yes, i know i shouldn't air my 'dirty laundry' so to speak, but admit it, these are just too gorgeous to NOT air. i love my new victoria's secret undies! haha.

plus who can forget my absolute favourite bath and body works. i went totally crazy there and bought 16 bottles. but gasp, when the store guy said some of my fav scents were being discontinued, i panicked! lol. my sis says you should have seen my face. apparently i looked super shocked and distressed. ;}

at the super nice bubba gump restaurant at santa monica pier. it is damn cool and centered around the forrest gump movie. lea even bought that funny scrimp bubba soft toy, it looks kinda weird! heehee. and look at these cute signs--if you're in need of some attention(in the form of waiter service of course), just flip the sign to 'stop forrest stop', and the waiter will come, if not, just tell him to 'run' we liked!

last day at santa monica after hitting all the shops and we almost forgot about the present for our aunt! luckily this super yummy chocolate shop was open. i went chocolate crazy, but only had the heart to buy myself a single truffle;[, but would you look at that spread!! gorgeous.

in the mood to buy buy buy!!!

i can't believe i've only been back for a week!

comp is still out.. at the shop as we speak=[ but let's hope they call me to pick it up soon! i miss it real bad!

and i'm so pleased with myself now. haha. ego. after 4 days of bending over taking photos of my first batch of earrings (over 50 pairs!), photoshopping and cropping, and uploading on my site and writing product descriptions, i'm proud to say i finally have products to sell! haha, and all these ideas have been piling up, so much so that i just started on 4 new collections simultaneously. can't wait for everyone to see them! its gonna be interesting, since i'm experimenting with new materials now... leather strips and ribbon in my 'all tied up' collection, cut foam pieces in my 'foam party' collection, fabric bits in my 'fabric market' collection, and of course, everyone's favourite charm jewellery in my 'charmed, i'm sure' collection. so fun! and after close to 7 years of not making necklaces, simply because i never liked to make them, i decided to give them a try again. can't wait to go buy materials for all my new projects later. i have 6 hours to shop at my 4 different bead locations before meeting mitch and mich for a late sakae lunch today. i just hope i dont go bead crazy and go over budget again. as it is, i'm digging into my own pockets.. since adrian, my webpage designer is STILL not done with the site so i have no medium as which to sell. sigh. haha. anyway i hope you like the 'sneak peeks' interspersed between my post. i'll keep you updated when the site is up.. and then you hafta promise to help me promote!! :)




and i so wanna buy these charms i found on a US site!!! but at S$2 PER piece, it hardly seems worth it right?? sigh... :(

and on a final side side note.. i'm still suffering from jet-lag! well.. kinda.. its got better at least. when i first got back, i was sleeping at 8pm and waking up daily at 3am. and now, i've made a little progress.. i sleep later, but still wake up at 5am without fail everyday. hee... i've been eating a lot of early breakfasts alone and doing a lot of early morning jogging on our ski machine at home, and i'm starting to think this new lifestyle may be the way to go for me. a healtier lifestyle and imagine... no more being late for morning classes when school starts! heeheee, lets hope i can keep this up till school reopens in like god knows when=]

oh yes, and another thing.. my tickets to hongkong are confirmed! =] i'm going right when the summer sale starts. can't wait to shop! bali was cancelled cos of some recent bomb threats so my mum's company changed the company holiday location to penang, which none of us wanted to go to... so now my mum booked hk to make up for it. yay. hk is tons better anyway!!

i regret not backing up my files

wahh!!! my stupid laptop keeps flashing the same 'fatal error' message, and now i can't even switch on the comp! looks like i'll have to send it in for repairs tmr, with the risk of losing my 80GB of data stored in there (which i'm super duper uber upset about!!!) why didn't i ever backup my files or save a copy of them somewhere else??!? especially the shitload of songs, hundreds of photos, and ALL of my work related files and images.. oh please please please!!! i DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT, want to retake that 16 hours worth of jewellery photos, or lose my dramas and songs and memories stored in my laptop!! oh gosh. someone kill me now. i'm in major panic! whelps. it's good to be home by the way, in a manner of speaking... all would be good if this did not happen!~ i'll tell you guys about my trip and update with tons of photos soon, as soon as i get the comp fixed and get the holiday photos from lea and daph. in the meantime... URGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! *dies*
